It kills me a little to show you some of these drawings because quite a few I’m not so thrilled with. But hell, it will help me to keep getting better. If anything so I don’t have to face this public humiliation.

I thought I would try something new today. Sharpie, 5 minutes, go. Not awesome, but it’s actually better than I thought it would be. I’m going to get a mirror so I can do some self portrait work. This one is from a photo (tomorrow’s cl pattern post actually), so that didn’t help my cause at all.

I sure am glad I just kept going with this little drawing. It’s so much better now than when I stopped after just the colored pencils. I went back in with the outlining and cross hatching and then more colored pencils over that. Still not happy with the stem, but I’ll keep working on it. I do love drawing plants and veggies.
