The drawing people trials begin again. You know, I never tried to draw anyone until my sophmore year in high school… in comparison I’ve been drawing plants since I was a little kiddo and animals since I was 8 or so. I have a few years of catch up work on portraits, people, and face type stuff. Bah. Sketch sketch sketch, practice, practice, practice.

It kills me a little to show you some of these drawings because quite a few I’m not so thrilled with. But hell, it will help me to keep getting better. If anything so I don’t have to face this public humiliation.

I thought I would try something new today. Sharpie, 5 minutes, go. Not awesome, but it’s actually better than I thought it would be. I’m going to get a mirror so I can do some self portrait work. This one is from a photo (tomorrow’s cl pattern post actually), so that didn’t help my cause at all.
